According to Khaosod Online, the action followed a raid conducted by the Department of Provincial Administration’s special task force, known as the 'Baramee Sothon' operation. The venue, located within the Songchai Charoensap market in Muang district, was found to be operating as an entertainment venue without the required legal permits and was also cited for issues regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Beyond the closure of the premises, the provincial administration investigated individuals associated with the business. It was discovered that a local village headman had ties to the establishment, leading to his immediate dismissal from his position.
