Bangkok Prepares for 45-Baht Unified Electric Train Fare by January 2027

According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is actively working to implement a unified electric train fare system. Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Wissanu Subsompon, announced on September 17, 2026, that the city is collaborating with relevant agencies to integrate data and infrastructure to support a flat-rate fare of 45 baht across all electric train lines and colors.
