Bangkok to Implement 45-Baht Transit Fare Cap in January 2027

According to a report by Khaosod English, Bangkok officials are currently coordinating with the Transport Ministry and relevant agencies to establish a unified fare structure for the city's rail network. The initiative aims to set a maximum fare cap of 45 baht per trip for passengers.

Bangkok Deputy Governor Wisanu Sap-Somphon recently participated in the inaugural meeting regarding this project. The proposed measure is currently targeted for a launch date of January 1, 2027.
