SCGP Expands Logistics and Packaging Capacity in Chonburi
SCGP has acquired a 90% stake in a Chonburi-based corrugated box manufacturer to bolster export logistics, with operations set to be recognized in October 2026.
According to Prachachat Business, SCGP has invested 68 million baht to acquire a 90% stake in JZF, a corrugated box manufacturing facility located in Chonburi province. The company plans to begin recognizing revenue from this new acquisition starting in October 2026.
This strategic move is primarily aimed at strengthening the company’s support for the fruit export sector, particularly shipments destined for China. By integrating this facility, SCGP intends to enhance its overall production efficiency and reduce transportation costs associated with packaging and logistics. Wichan Jitpukdee, CEO of SCGP, indicated that this expansion is part of a broader effort to optimize supply chain operations.
