Flash Flood and Landslide Warning Issued for 15 Thai Provinces
The Department of Mineral Resources has issued a warning for potential flash floods and landslides across 15 provinces from September 17–19, 2026.

Due to a monsoon trough causing heavy to very heavy rainfall and significant accumulated precipitation, authorities have identified 15 provinces at risk between September 17 and 19, 2026.
The provinces under observation include Mae Hong Son, Tak, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Kanchanaburi, Chanthaburi, Trat, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi, and Trang. Specific districts in Northern provinces, such as Sop Moei, Mae Sariang, Mae La Noi, and Khun Yuam in Mae Hong Son, as well as Tha Song Yang and Mae Ramat in Tak, are highlighted as areas requiring heightened vigilance.
