According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) is moving forward with the development of 'EECiti,' a project designed to establish a new economic center in Thailand's eastern region. During a seminar hosted by the Real Estate Information Center of the Government Housing Bank, Thongthong Thongtham na Ayutthaya, acting director of the EECiti project office, stated that the initiative aims to integrate modern living, medical services, education, and business operations into a 'smart' urban environment.
For residents and potential investors, the project highlights a strategic focus on future-oriented sectors, specifically healthcare, wellness, longevity, sports performance, and data centers. The EECO is currently in discussions with various domestic and international private entities to explore investment partnerships and technology transfers to enhance the city's capabilities.
