According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on September 16, 2026, a 29-year-old mother residing in Bueng Nam Rak, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao, has requested public assistance to manage the care of her two-year-old daughter. The child was born with a congenital disability that requires frequent medical attention, including physical therapy sessions two to three times per month, costing approximately 1,000 baht per trip.
The family is facing significant financial strain due to the high cost of specialized medical milk, which costs 450 baht per can, with a monthly requirement of 16 cans. Additionally, the child requires diapers and other ongoing care. The mother has resigned from her job to provide full-time care, leaving the father as the sole provider. Medical professionals have recently indicated that the child may require a gastrostomy tube for feeding, as she currently struggles to swallow food orally.
