‘Thai Tiew Thai Plus’ Tourism Campaign Postponed to April 2027

According to a report by Prachachat Business, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Surasak Phancharoenworakul, has announced a significant delay for the upcoming ‘Thai Tiew Thai Plus’ tourism campaign. Originally scheduled for an October 1, 2026 launch, the initiative will now be postponed until the low season in April 2027.

Minister Surasak explained that the decision was made to accommodate the extension of the existing ‘Thai Chuay Thai Plus’ program. By prioritizing the continuation of the current scheme, the government aims to maintain support for the domestic tourism sector before transitioning to the new campaign next year.

For travelers and residents, this shift means that the anticipated benefits and promotional activities associated with ‘Thai Tiew Thai Plus’ will not be available during the upcoming high season.
