BAAC Launches New Digital Savings Lottery

According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) is launching a new financial product titled the 'BAAC Digital Savings Lottery Plus.' Starting September 17, 2026, the bank will offer 200 million units priced at 50 baht each, totaling a 10-billion-baht pool. The lottery is divided into 20 categories, with each category containing 10 million units.

For residents and long-term visitors, this initiative represents a low-entry-barrier savings option. The lottery has a one-year maturity period, after which depositors receive an interest rate of 0.02% per annum, equivalent to 0.01 baht per unit. Beyond the interest, participants are eligible for monthly prize draws, including a top prize of 3 million baht.
