Arrest Made Following Stabbing Incident at BTS Siam Skywalk
Authorities have apprehended a 20-year-old student in connection with a stabbing incident involving two students from Pathumwan Institute of Technology at the BTS Siam station.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, police have arrested a 20-year-old student from Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, Uthen Thawai Campus, following a violent altercation on the third floor of the BTS Siam skywalk. The incident, which occurred on the morning of September 7, 2026, involved a confrontation between students from Uthen Thawai and Pathumwan Institute of Technology. During the altercation, two students from the Pathumwan Institute were stabbed in the back and subsequently transported to Police General Hospital and Hua Chiew Hospital for medical treatment.
On September 15, 2026, officials including the Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 6 announced the execution of an arrest warrant issued by the Bangkok South Criminal Court. The suspect is currently in custody facing charges related to the attack.
