Chanthaburi Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of Minor
Police in Chanthaburi have arrested a 43-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting his son's 13-year-old friend while she was staying at his home.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, police in Chanthaburi province executed an arrest warrant on September 15, 2026, for a man identified as Thanawiput, also known as 'Tong'. The arrest follows a formal complaint filed by a 13-year-old girl, referred to as 'A', who alleged that the suspect assaulted her twice during the night while she was visiting his home as a friend of his son.
Authorities, led by senior officers from the Chanthaburi City Police Station, apprehended the suspect under a warrant issued by the Chanthaburi Provincial Court.
