The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has initiated two distinct criminal investigations following reports of electoral misconduct, as reported by Thai Post on September 15, 2026.

The first case involves a breach at the 9th polling station in the Khan Na Yao district, where the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) has filed a complaint regarding the illegal photography of the voting area. The second case concerns the unauthorized leak of confidential documents related to a Senate election collusion investigation. The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and the ECT are working to identify those responsible for disseminating these sensitive files.
