Thai Police Partner with International Agencies to Combat Online Child Exploitation
The Royal Thai Police’s Anti-Trafficking in Persons Center has launched a specialized training program in collaboration with the French Embassy, Interpol, and Roblox to enhance efforts against online child sexual abuse.
On September 15, 2026, the Royal Thai Police’s Anti-Trafficking in Persons Center (TICAC) initiated a specialized training seminar for expert police officers at The COP Seminar & Resort in Bang Lamung, Chon Buri. This initiative, part of the 2026 fiscal year program, aims to bolster the capabilities of law enforcement in identifying and preventing online child sexual abuse and human trafficking.
The project features a strategic partnership with the French Embassy, Interpol, and the gaming platform Roblox. Representatives from Interpol, including Criminal Intelligence Officers Gordana Vujisic and Fabio Sicoli, alongside Sophie Bazard, the French Embassy’s Regional Advisor for Southeast Asia, participated to share expertise and operational experiences. The collaboration focuses on strengthening the protection of minors from digital exploitation.
