Residents and lottery enthusiasts visited Wat Mai Khok Marum in Ang Thong province to seek lucky numbers from local spiritual icons ahead of the upcoming draw.
On September 15, 2026, Khaosod Online reported a surge of activity at Wat Mai Khok Marum in the Muang Tia sub-district of Ang Thong province. As the date for the national lottery draw approached, locals and visitors gathered to pay respects to various spiritual objects, including the stuffed remains of a cat known as 'Chao Tone' and over 50 Takian Thong tree trunks, which are traditionally revered in Thai folklore as sites for seeking fortune.
During the visit, participants performed rituals such as lighting incense and drawing lots from a lucky jar. According to the report, the incense ritual yielded the number 186, while the jar draw produced the numbers 106 and 48. One local resident, identified as Aunt Nom, noted that she has regularly cleaned the area and claimed to have successfully predicted winning numbers in three consecutive draws, expressing hope for a fourth success.
