Indian Tourists Report Theft at Pattaya Luxury Hotel

According to a report by Khaosod Online, Pattaya City Police received a complaint on September 14, 2026, from a group of five Indian tourists. The visitors alleged that after inviting five Thai women to their rooms at a five-star hotel in North Pattaya, they discovered that a total of 24,000 baht in cash had gone missing following the encounters.

Police Lieutenant Female Nachat Chantrakarn, the investigating officer, confirmed that the report was filed after the tourists realized their money was gone, leaving them unable to purchase souvenirs before their scheduled departure. A tour guide identified as 'Bom' stated that he was leading a group of approximately 200 Indian tourists in the area at the time of the incident.

For travelers and residents, this incident highlights the importance of exercising caution regarding personal security and the handling of cash when interacting with strangers in nightlife or hospitality settings. While the police have received the formal complaint, the investigation is ongoing.
