The deceased have been identified as 56-year-old Damien John Shaw and his two children, a six-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl.
The discovery occurred after the children’s mother, who was in Jakarta at the time, contacted a neighbor to check on the family. She had become concerned after hearing the children crying during a phone call with her husband, after which she was unable to reach him again. Neighbors entered the property after receiving no response to their knocks and subsequently alerted the authorities.
