Gamecock Farm Owner Seeks Justice After Mass Attack in Ang Thong
A local gamecock farm owner in Ang Thong province is seeking justice after a series of dog attacks resulted in the loss of 40 prize birds.
On September 14, 2026, Khaosod Online reported that Mr. Eknarong, the 45-year-old owner of Phetklanarong Farm in Ban It, Ang Thong, has filed a police complaint following a devastating attack on his livestock. According to the owner, a dog breached the farm's netting on the night of September 6, killing 40 gamecocks. With each bird valued at 6,000 baht, the total financial loss is estimated at 240,000 baht.
Mr. Eknarong reported the incident to the Mueang Ang Thong Police Station on September 7. While the owner believes the animals responsible belong to a neighbor, the accused party has denied ownership, claiming the dogs involved were strays. Police have attempted to mediate the dispute, but the matter remains unresolved.
