Fatal Motorcycle Accident Involving Minors in Na Chom Thian
A motorcycle accident in Chonburi has left one minor dead and another in critical condition, with the driver reportedly fleeing the scene.
On the evening of September 14, 2026, a tragic motorcycle accident occurred on the Sukhumvit Road U-turn bridge in Na Chom Thian, Sattahip District, Chonburi. According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, three minors were riding a single motorcycle when the vehicle lost control, causing two passengers to be thrown from the bike.
Emergency responders from the Queen Sirikit Naval Hospital and the Sawang Rojana Thammasathan Foundation arrived at the scene around 8:00 PM to find two injured boys. One 14-year-old sustained critical injuries and was transported to Wat Yan Sangwararam Hospital, while a 13-year-old was also confirmed as a casualty. Tragically, one of the three involved individuals died as a result of the incident. Authorities noted that the driver of the motorcycle fled the scene immediately following the crash without providing assistance to the victims.
