Teenagers Involved in Violent Assault in Buriram
A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious injuries following an attack by a group of six teenagers in Buriram province.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, police in Non Din Daeng district, Buriram, are investigating a violent incident that occurred on the night of September 12, 2026. A 14-year-old boy, identified as 'No', was severely injured after being attacked by a group of six teenagers, aged approximately 14 to 16, near the Lam Nang Rong Dam. Two of the victim's friends also sustained minor injuries during the altercation.
Witnesses and the victims reported that the assailants had recently been released from a juvenile detention center and were participating in a vocational training program at a local facility in Non Din Daeng. It is alleged that the group escaped from the facility at night to confront the victims over a dispute regarding a girl. The victim remains under medical care at Non Din Daeng Hospital, and his family has urged local authorities to expedite the legal proceedings against the attackers.
