Music Teacher Dismissed Following Allegations of Student Abuse in Ayutthaya
A music teacher in Ayutthaya has been removed from duty after four students reported physical abuse and threats involving a sword.
According to a report by Khaosod Online on September 14, 2026, a music teacher in his 50s has been dismissed from his position following allegations of physical abuse against four male students in grades 5 and 6. The incident, which prompted an investigation by the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women, involved claims that the teacher used a one-meter-long sword to threaten the children, allegedly asking if they wanted to die.
The students have reportedly suffered significant psychological distress and are currently afraid to return to school. In response to the complaints filed by the families, the Pavena Foundation facilitated medical examinations for the four boys at the Police General Hospital. These medical results will be submitted to the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Police Station to support the ongoing legal proceedings.
