The individual was the subject of an active arrest warrant issued by Chinese authorities for multiple serious offenses, including the illegal demolition of a house, the seizure of a company, and a violent assault that left a victim in critical condition.
Beyond the criminal charges pending in China, local authorities confirmed that the suspect had been residing in Thailand illegally. Records indicate that Zhang Yong had overstayed his visa by 2,823 days, a significant violation of Thai immigration regulations.
