On September 14, 2026, Pojanee, a noodle vendor widely known as 'Yui Noodle Spaghetti Strap,' visited the Amphawa Police Station in Samut Songkhram province with her boyfriend. According to Khaosod Online, she filed a formal complaint against a Facebook page that allegedly circulated false claims suggesting an illicit romantic relationship between her and the abbot of Wat Chulamanee.
Pojanee, who operates a mobile catering business, stated that the online rumors have caused significant damage to her reputation and that of the temple. She clarified that her relationship with the abbot is strictly platonic, describing him as a mentor who treats her like a daughter. She noted that the abbot is a dedicated community developer who frequently hires various local vendors to provide food for the needy, not just her business.
