Investigation Underway Following Suspicious Death in Ayutthaya
Authorities in Bang Pa-in are investigating the death of a 43-year-old woman discovered in her home after three days.
On September 14, 2026, police in Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya, were alerted to the discovery of a deceased 43-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Salinya, inside her elevated wooden home. According to Khaosod Online, the victim’s mother discovered the body, which appeared to have been deceased for approximately three days.
Investigators from the Bang Pa-in Police Station, along with forensic experts and medical personnel, examined the scene. The victim sustained multiple injuries, including wounds consistent with sharp objects on her neck, face, and arms, as well as signs suggesting a broken neck. Authorities also noted blood-stained footprints leading toward a window. A point of concern for investigators is the state of the home’s security, as two separate doors were found locked in different manners, raising questions about the circumstances of the incident.
The victim’s husband reported that he had visited his wife on the morning of Friday, September 11, before leaving for work.
