SC Asset Forecasts Recovery for Thailand’s Low-Rise Property Market
SC Asset Corporation reports that the low-rise real estate sector has passed its lowest point, with plans to launch 19 new projects in the final quarter of 2026.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, SC Asset Corporation believes the low-rise property market in Thailand has moved past the bottom of its cycle, which occurred during the first half of 2026. Mongkut Techo-lar, Managing Director of the low-rise property development and marketing group at SC Asset, stated that the company expects a market acceleration in the fourth quarter of 2026.
To capitalize on this anticipated recovery, SC Asset plans to launch 19 new low-rise projects valued at approximately 17 billion baht. These developments will feature eight new home series across 19 locations, centered on the 'Live and Learn Home' concept. The company has set ambitious targets for the final four months of the year, aiming for nearly 27 billion baht in sales and 16 billion baht in transfers. Furthermore, they intend to finalize the sale of 19 projects, totaling over 25.6 billion baht, by the end of 2026.
For residents and potential investors, this expansion suggests a significant increase in housing supply and developer confidence in the local economy. While these projections indicate a positive outlook for the sector, the actual performance of these new developments and the broader market recovery remain to be confirmed as the year concludes.
