DAD Asset Development Launches Innovation Program for Students
DAD Asset Development has selected 12 student teams to participate in its 'Open Innovation 2026' program, aimed at fostering new organizational solutions.
According to a report by Thai Post, DAD Asset Development (DAD) has officially launched its 'Open Innovation 2026' project. Parin Seejorn, Director of the Innovation Department at DAD, stated that the initiative is designed to engage university students and foster the development of innovative concepts that can be prototyped and tested within the organization.
The program attracted interest from 42 teams across various educational institutions. Following a selection process, 12 teams were chosen to undergo intensive training and incubation. The goal is to refine these student-led ideas into practical innovations that could eventually be implemented within DAD’s operational framework.
For residents and those interested in Thailand’s corporate and educational landscape, this initiative highlights a growing trend of state-linked enterprises seeking to integrate academic talent into professional innovation pipelines. While the program focuses on internal organizational development, it reflects a broader effort to modernize public asset management through youth-driven technology and creative problem-solving.
