On September 14, 2026, former Deputy Prime Minister Sompong Amornvivat visited the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) in Bangkok to file a formal complaint. He stated that an unidentified man had been using his name and surname to threaten and harass well-known actress 'Kwan' Usamanee while she was exercising at Benjakitti Park.
Mr. Sompong, a veteran politician with over 30 years of experience, learned of the incident through news reports earlier that morning. He emphasized that he has no connection to the individual in question and does not know the perpetrator.
