DITP Reports 163.5 Billion Baht in Trade Value for 2026
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) announced that its 2026 export initiatives generated over 163.5 billion baht in trade value, benefiting more than 314,500 participants.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) has successfully facilitated trade activities throughout 2026, resulting in a total trade value of 163,500 million baht. DITP Director-General Sunanta Kangvalkulkij stated that these initiatives supported over 314,500 entrepreneurs, importers, and service providers both domestically and internationally.
The department executed approximately 500 trade promotion activities, including exhibitions, business matching sessions, and international trade missions. Key efforts included expanding into high-potential markets such as India, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Notably, content business matching in Brazil and Mexico resulted in 337 successful pairings, valued at approximately 650 million baht.
For residents and travelers, this news highlights the ongoing growth of Thailand’s export sector, which may influence the availability of Thai products globally and the strength of local industries. While the DITP has confirmed these 2026 figures, the department is currently in the process of evaluating its strategic direction for the upcoming year.
