According to Khaosod Online Thailand, national team golfer Pongpak 'FIFA' Laopakdee is preparing for his first appearance at the Asian Games, scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 3, 2026. The tournament will be held at the Kasugai Country Club (East Course) in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Pongpak will compete alongside two experienced Thai professionals, Sadom Kaewkanjana and Phachara Khongwatmai (referred to as 'Pro Phet' and 'Pro Phum'). Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, Pongpak stated that he is honored to represent Thailand and is focused on securing a gold medal for the nation. He views the collaboration with his veteran teammates as a significant learning opportunity, noting that their extensive professional experience will be an asset to the team's performance.
