On the afternoon of September 13, 2026, a lone suspect armed with a firearm targeted a gold shop located on the Pathum-Sam Khok Road in the Sam Khok district of Pathum Thani province. According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, the incident occurred at approximately 3:20 PM when an individual wearing a jacket and face covering entered the premises.
The suspect reportedly coerced staff into handing over gold items, specifically selecting larger pieces. The stolen haul consisted of two 10-baht necklaces, four 5-baht necklaces, and three 4-baht necklaces, totaling 52 baht-weight of gold with an estimated value exceeding 3.5 million baht. Following the theft, the perpetrator exited the store calmly and fled the scene.
