Hotel Employee Attacked and Robbed in Udon Thani
A hotel worker was assaulted and robbed while commuting to work in Udon Thani, prompting a police investigation.
On September 13, 2026, a 41-year-old hotel employee was attacked while riding her motorcycle to work in Udon Thani province. According to Khaosod Online, the victim was traveling on the Ban Chan-Ban Tat road at approximately 5:30 a.m. when an assailant on a grey Honda Wave motorcycle approached from behind and kicked her vehicle, causing her to crash.
The perpetrator reportedly dragged the victim into a nearby wooded area, where he bound her hands and feet and demanded money. The victim managed to escape during a moment of inattention and was subsequently assisted by a passing motorist. Local police from the Mueang Udon Thani station were notified and arrived at the scene to find the victim, identified as Ms. Pen, suffering from injuries and in a state of shock.
