Senior Monk Donates 2 Billion Baht for New Hospital in Don Mueang

According to a report by Khaosod Online on September 13, 2026, Phra Phrom Wachirakhunathorn, the abbot of Wat Si Sudaram Worawihan, has donated 2 billion baht to support the construction of a new hospital in the Don Mueang district of Bangkok.

Phra Phrom Wachirakhunathorn, also known as Luang Phor Nen, is recognized for his extensive philanthropic work. He has previously been involved in the development of several medical and care facilities, including the Ratchaphiphat Hospital, the Center for Geriatric Medicine and Learning, the Center for the Promotion and Development of Quality of Life for People with Intellectual Disabilities, Rattanapracharak Hospital, and Phra Mongkhon Thepmuni Hospital.
