According to Khaosod Online, the King of Thailand is currently conducting an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of Vietnam. This visit is historically significant as it marks the first time a Thai monarch has made an official state visit to the country, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
