On September 11, 2026, a 31-year-old man contacted the Paveena Foundation for Children and Women to report a violent situation in Chaiyaphum province. According to Khaosod Online, the man reported that his 45-year-old relative, identified as Ms. B, had been physically abusing her 97-year-old great-grandmother and 65-year-old mother. The complainant stated that Ms. B has a long history of drug use and prior incarcerations. The situation escalated recently when Ms. B allegedly struck the 97-year-old woman in the back and threatened her with a wooden object.
Following the report, local police intervened and apprehended the suspect. Paveena Hongsakula, chair of the foundation, confirmed the details of the intervention on September 12.
