TDRI President Urges Election Commission to Refer Senate Selection Case to Supreme Court
The president of the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) has called on the Election Commission (EC) to expedite the referral of the Senate selection collusion case to the Supreme Court to restore public confidence.
On September 12, 2026, during a seminar at the Thai Parliament titled 'Monitoring the Role of Independent Organizations in Thailand's Political Crisis,' Somkiat Tangkitvanich, President of the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), addressed the current state of independent agencies.
