Authorities Seize Illegal Weight-Loss Peptide Injections in Nonthaburi
Thai police and health officials have raided a Nonthaburi residence, confiscating over 50 million baht worth of unauthorized weight-loss peptide injections.
On September 11, 2026, Thai law enforcement, led by the Metropolitan Police Bureau in coordination with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Ministry of Public Health, conducted a raid on a house in the Sao Thong Hin sub-district of Bang Yai, Nonthaburi. According to Khaosod Online, the operation targeted an illicit distribution hub for 'Haus of peptide' brand injections, which were marketed for weight loss.
Authorities seized a large quantity of products, estimating the total value of the confiscated goods at over 50 million baht. Officials highlighted that these products lacked FDA approval, posing significant health risks to consumers. The raid involved high-ranking police officials and representatives from the Ministry of Public Health, including the Minister of Public Health, Phatthana Phromphat.
