Man Arrested While Repainting Stolen Motorcycle in Bangkok
Bangkok police apprehended a 45-year-old man caught in the act of spray-painting a stolen motorcycle to disguise its appearance.
On September 11, 2026, officers from the Samranrat Police Station arrested a 45-year-old man, identified as Rangsan, for the theft of a motorcycle. According to Khaosod Online, the suspect was apprehended near a public road along Khlong Bang Khuad in the Nuanchan sub-district of Bangkok’s Bueng Kum district. At the time of the arrest, police discovered the suspect attempting to repaint the stolen vehicle red to conceal its original identity.
Authorities seized the motorcycle, a can of red spray paint, and three bypass fuses as evidence. During the initial investigation, the suspect admitted to stealing the motorcycle at approximately 5:15 a.m. on September 8. He is currently facing charges related to theft committed at night or receiving stolen property.
