Dashcam footage captured earlier that morning, around 2:26 a.m. near the Nakhon Ratchasima Highway District 2 office, showed the vehicle swerving after hitting a patch of water. By 3:33 a.m., the same vehicle was involved in a collision with a motorcycle carrying a couple who were reportedly on their way to sell chicken rice. The impact resulted in the deaths of the two motorcycle riders.
