Poh Teck Tung Foundation Provides Aid to Fire Victims in Bangkok
The Poh Teck Tung Foundation and partner Chinese associations have distributed over 180,000 baht in aid to families affected by a recent fire in the Rung Manee Phatthana community.
On September 11, 2026, representatives from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, led by Assistant Director Chudet Techapaiboon, visited the Rung Manee Phatthana community in the Wang Thonglang district of Bangkok. The visit followed a residential fire that occurred in the area on September 4, 2026.
According to Khaosod Online, the foundation collaborated with various Chinese associations to provide relief to 17 affected families, totaling 39 individuals. The aid package included cash payments of 3,500 baht per person, amounting to 136,500 baht, alongside essential consumer goods provided to each household. The total value of the assistance distributed during this operation exceeded 180,000 baht.
