Thai Ministries Launch 'One Data' Initiative to Streamline Agricultural Information

According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has collaborated with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to launch the 'One Data' project for 2026. This initiative successfully integrates over 300 million records and more than 1,000 data items from five different agricultural agencies into a single, standardized format. The primary goal of this integration is to eliminate data redundancy and improve the efficiency of information management across the sector.

For residents and those involved in the agricultural sector, this development represents a significant step toward digital modernization in Thailand. By centralizing information, the government aims to create a more cohesive administrative framework, which could eventually lead to more streamlined services and better-informed policy decisions regarding land and cooperative management.

Looking ahead, the project is scheduled to expand further. Plans are already in place to incorporate data from the Land Development Department, the Agricultural Land Reform Office (ALRO), and the Cooperative Promotion Department by 2027. While the initial integration of the five agencies is complete, the full impact of this unified system on day-to-day agricultural operations remains to be seen as the government continues to scale the platform in the coming years.
