Fatal Fire Destroys Home and Tire Shop in Rayong
A tragic fire in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, resulted in two fatalities and significant vehicle damage, including 12 cars and two motorcycles.
On the night of September 10, 2026, a severe fire broke out at a residence and attached tire shop located along Sukhumvit Road in the Map Ta Phut sub-district of Rayong province. Their son reportedly managed to escape the blaze.
The fire spread from the residence to the adjacent tire shop, causing extensive destruction to customer and personal vehicles. Authorities confirmed that a total of 12 cars were damaged, with eight destroyed completely and four sustaining partial damage. Additionally, two motorcycles were reported damaged in the incident. Forensic police officers from Rayong province have since arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire.
