PTT Station Distributes Free Mangosteen to Support Southern Farmers
PTT Station is giving away over 100,000 kilograms of mangosteen to customers in four provinces to help farmers manage surplus production.
According to Khaosod Online, PTT Station has launched a promotional campaign titled 'Community Sharing Space' to assist Thai farmers facing a surplus of mangosteen. From September 11 to 13, 2026, customers who purchase at least 500 baht of fuel at participating PTT stations will receive a complimentary portion of mangosteen.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Department of Internal Trade and PTT Oil and Retail Business (OR). The fruit is sourced directly from farmers in Southern Thailand and is being distributed across more than 360 stations located in Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan.
For residents and travelers in these areas, this campaign offers a chance to enjoy fresh, locally sourced fruit while supporting the agricultural sector. The program aims to bridge the gap between producers and consumers during a period of market oversupply. While the promotion is currently active, it is limited to the specified three-day window and the four mentioned provinces. Travelers should note that availability is subject to stock at individual stations, and the offer is strictly tied to the minimum fuel purchase requirement per receipt.
