A 46-year-old woman’s organ donation has provided life-saving transplants for six patients following a fatal motorcycle accident in Trang.
On September 11, 2026, medical teams at Trang Hospital completed the final stage of an organ donation process involving 46-year-old Ms. Suchada, who passed away following a motorcycle accident. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the donation was carried out in accordance with the deceased's prior wishes, ultimately benefiting six patients awaiting transplants.
The final organ, a heart valve, was transported from the hospital’s diagnostic building to Krabi Airport for delivery to a recipient. To ensure the safety and speed of the transfer, local police, highway patrol, and emergency rescue services coordinated a secure escort for the medical transport team. The surgical extraction of the organs began on the evening of September 10.
