According to a report by Prachachat Business, Surasak Phancharoenworakul has announced plans to submit the 'Thai Tiew Thai Plus' tourism stimulus project to the Thai Cabinet on September 22. The proposed initiative, which carries a budget of 4 billion baht, is designed to stimulate the domestic economy by an estimated 20 billion baht.
The program intends to offer 1 million entitlements to travelers. Under the current proposal, the government would provide subsidies for accommodation costs of up to 2,000 baht per person. Additionally, participants would receive travel vouchers valued at 1,500 baht for trips to major cities and 2,000 baht for visits to secondary provinces.
