Thai Golf Team Prepares for 20th Asian Games in Japan
Two-time Asian Games gold medalist Apichaya Yubol will lead the Thai national golf team at the upcoming 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Thai national golf team is preparing for the 20th Asian Games, scheduled to take place in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The golf competition itself is set to run from September 30 to October 3, 2026, at the Kasugai Country Club (East Course).
Apichaya 'Piano' Yubol, who secured two gold medals at the 19th Asian Games, will lead the Thai squad as they aim to defend their titles. The team is supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand and the National Sports Development Fund. Each participating nation is permitted to send a total of six athletes, divided between men and women, to compete for four gold medals in the men’s individual, women’s individual, men’s team, and women’s team categories.
