The victim was deceived into downloading a malicious mobile application, which allowed scammers to gain remote access to her device and initiate a transfer of over 2 million baht from her bank account.
Upon realizing the fraud, the victim immediately contacted the Wang Saphung police. Authorities acted quickly to coordinate with the relevant financial institution, successfully freezing the funds before the perpetrators could withdraw them.
