Motorcycle Bomb Detonates in Pattani Province

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a motorcycle bomb detonated on the evening of September 10, 2026, near a U-turn on Highway 42 in Tambon Khuan, Panare District, Pattani Province. The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 PM near a PTT gas station.

Security footage reviewed by authorities shows a suspect wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and a sarong-like garment parking the rigged motorcycle on the roadside. The individual then fled into nearby brush, where they were reportedly picked up by an accomplice. Shortly after the suspect departed, the motorcycle exploded. A passing civilian vehicle was damaged by the blast, but officials confirmed that no injuries or fatalities occurred.
