A concert attendee traveling from Chaiyaphum to see Asanee-Wasan was barred from entry after staff claimed his ticket had already been scanned.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, a man named Teerawut experienced a frustrating ordeal while attempting to attend an Asanee-Wasan concert. Despite holding his physical ticket, Teerawut was informed by event staff upon his arrival at 10:00 PM that the ticket had already been scanned for entry.
Teerawut, who traveled four hours from Chaiyaphum, noted that he had purchased the ticket for a show originally scheduled for September 2, which was later rescheduled to September 9 due to technical issues. He confirmed that he possessed the physical ticket throughout his journey and was still in Chaiyaphum at the time the system claimed his ticket was used. Upon checking the assigned seat, he found it unoccupied. He was eventually able to enter the venue, but only in time to hear the final song of the performance.
For travelers and residents, this incident highlights the potential risks associated with digital ticketing systems and the importance of securing ticket information. While it remains unconfirmed whether this was a technical glitch or a case of ticket duplication, the situation serves as a reminder to keep ticket details private and to contact event organizers immediately if entry issues arise.
