Thai Youth Anti-Corruption Media Projects Receive National Award
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Fund has been honored with the 2026 'Fourth Estate' award for its youth-led anti-corruption media initiatives.
On September 10, 2026, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) Fund was recognized with the prestigious 'Fourth Estate' award for its commitment to fostering high-quality media focused on anti-corruption awareness. According to Khaosod Online, the award honors the success of two specific initiatives: the 'Model Youth Anti-Corruption Ambassadors' training program and the 'Youth Against Corruption' creative drama workshop in the Eastern region.
Representatives from the NACC’s Office of Prevention and Suppression Strategy, alongside students from Sirirattanathorn School, accepted the award at the Public Relations Department auditorium. The recognition highlights the production of 10 creative dramas from participating schools and over 100 video clips and interviews featuring anti-corruption leaders, which were broadcast on Channel 5 and various social media platforms.
For residents and visitors, this initiative reflects a growing emphasis on civic education and transparency within Thailand’s younger generation. While the award celebrates the quality of these media projects, it remains to be seen how these educational efforts will influence long-term public engagement with anti-corruption policies.
