A lone gunman stole approximately 1.5 million baht from a bank at the Talaad Thai market before abandoning and burning his getaway vehicle.
On September 10, 2026, a lone male suspect armed with a firearm robbed a bank branch located within the Talaad Thai market area in Pathum Thani province. According to reports from Khaosod Online, the individual, dressed in black, successfully made off with approximately 1.5 million baht in cash.
Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene in a black Toyota Vios, bearing license plate number Khom-8353. Local police from the Khlong Luang station were alerted to the incident and immediately initiated a search operation. Shortly thereafter, authorities discovered the getaway vehicle abandoned and set on fire along the outbound Phahonyothin Road, near Thammasat University Hospital.
