According to Khaosod Online, association president Suchai Pornchai-sak-udom acknowledged the high level of competition expected at the event, describing it as a significant challenge for the Thai squad.
Despite the difficulty, the association remains hopeful that the team can secure medals if the athletes maintain peak physical and mental readiness. Lallana Tararudee and Mananchaya Sawangkaew, both currently ranked within the world’s top 100, have gained international recognition following their participation in the 2026 Wimbledon and US Open Grand Slam tournaments. Additionally, Thailand’s top-ranked male player, Kasidit Samrej, recently achieved a career milestone by reaching the final of an ATP Challenger 75 event for the first time.
